Baseball Victoria Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of Baseball Victoria was held on Monday 19 February from 7.00pm at MSAC.
In attendance were 30 Member Bodies of the Association (Baseball Victoria) including Summer Baseball Clubs, Winter Associations, BUAV and Life Members of Baseball Victoria. Also in attendance were members of the Baseball Victoria Board, Baseball Victoria CEO and members of the Baseball Victoria office.
During the Annual General Meeting the Member Bodies in accordance with the Constitution of Baseball Victoria:
From his appointment to the Board of Baseball Victoria in 2015 James assumed responsibility for the portfolio of Director of Finance bringing with him more than 12 years’ experience of success in financial management and elevating operational efficiency in high level professional sporting organisations. James experience encompasses planning and operational implementation within two AFL clubs as well as racing and wagering industry experience.
Ratified the appointment of Joanna O’Connor as a Director of Baseball Victoria for a first term of three years filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Director Sonia Heath.

The Annual General Meeting concluded at 7.50pm.
Baseball Victoria Strategy Update & Q&A Meeting
With the formal procedural matters concluded and the Annual General Meeting completed a second meeting commenced during which the Baseball Victoria CEO and members of the Baseball Victoria office team presented an update on the Baseball Victoria strategy, organisational chart and key initiatives.
During this presentation a number of questions and matters for consideration raised prior to the Annual General Meeting by Member Bodies and members of the Victorian Baseball Community were addressed.
The presentation included Q&A during which additional matters were raised and answered with many of the matters to be continued at the next Presidents & Secretaries Meeting.
