Baseball Australia has confirmed the 2022 Australian Little League Championship will be held at Milton Park in Macquarie Fields, southwest of Sydney.
The six-day event will run from 8-13 June and once again feature a second division. The national tournament will be hosted in conjunction with Macarthur Baseball League and supported by the New South Wales Government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
Lismore – which has hosted the past six Australian Little League Championships – was unable to hold the event after a major flood event in late February caused widespread damage.
The Little League champions will earn the right to represent Australia Region at the 2022 Little League Baseball® World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, from 17-28 August.
Southern Mariners and Twins represented Victoria at the 2021 Australian Little League Championship, and this year's representatives will be decided at the state championships later this month.
