Baseball Victoria War Service Honour Rolls

BASEBALL VICTORIA REMEMBERS THOSE PLAYERS WHO HAVE SERVED IN WAR AND PEACEKEEPING SERVICES

Updated 27 September 2023

Baseball Victoria is committed to creating and maintaining an honour roll of baseball players who have served in war and peacekeeping missions since 1915.

It is difficult to imagine a modern-day player’s career being interrupted so dramatically, and we will be forever grateful for their service and sacrifices in our Australian armed services.

At this stage, our records are incomplete, and the assistance of the baseball community is sought to provide the names of people you believe should be included on the honour rolls, which should cover World War I, World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam.

There are many search facilities available and a suggested starting point is nominal-rolls.dva.gov.au/ww2. This website will provide a printed certificate summarising a person’s service. The certificate and a photo, if available, can be sent to rachael.bouley@baseballvictoria.com.au.
