As the winter season gets underway, we would like to acknowledge the 2023 BV Development Grant recipients. We proudly awarded over $37,000 in grants to 22 winter associations and clubs to support activities and events aimed at increasing participation in our grassroots sport.
These grants were made possible through the Baseball Victoria Development Fund, which consists of annual contributions collected from member fees participating in t-ball, juniors, and seniors.
Successful applications in the latest round included come and try days, junior clinics, baseball equipment, female participation programs, All Abilities sessions, and more.
Dandenong Baseball Association, Geelong Baseball Association, and Latrobe Valley Baseball Association all received grants along with the following winter clubs: Alfredton, Benalla, Churchill, Colac, Deakin, Diamond Creek, East Belmont, Forest Hill, Greensborough, Heathmont, Knox, Malmsbury, Melbourne University, Morwell, North Balwyn, North Coburg, Porepunkah, St Kilda, and Traralgon.
