Last month, Baseball Victoria welcomed Scott Glover to the team as our new Head of Competitions and Events.
Here's an introduction to Scott.
Background in sport:
My background in sport includes experience at Touch Football Victoria and Ice Hockey Australia, along with involvement across a range of sports as both a participant and volunteer
What inspired you to work in sport?
Being involved in sport has been a huge part of who I am. I’ve always enjoyed participating, but the opportunity to contribute to others’ involvement in sport helping create experiences that are enjoyable and memorable has been something I have loved and look forward to continuing with BV.
What excites you about your new role with BV?
I’m looking forward to getting to know the people who make up our passionate community. There are many exciting opportunities within the sport, and it’s a privilege to be involved and get the chance to contribute to its continued growth.

What does your ideal weekend look like?
Spending time outdoors and supporting all my favourite teams.
Top goals for the next year?
Over the next year my goals are to meet the community and gain a better understanding the of the passionate volunteers, players and individuals who makeup the sport. I look forward to delivering our competitions and events with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
