Baseball Australia has qualified and will be entering a team in the inaugural Baseball5 World Cup. The event will be held in Mexico City, Mexico, 7-13 November 2022.
The team will compete in the inaugural world cup which will be a mixed-gender event. Four female and four male players will make up the Australia team and travel to this historic event in Mexico City.
An event will be hosted in Sydney in the lead-up to the World Cup to select the team that will travel.
Baseball Australia CEO Glenn Williams is excited to bring the Baseball5 community together in Sydney before providing a pathway to the World Cup for the best B5 athletes in Australia.
