10 Victorians headed to the U.S. last week with the 2022 National Junior Squad, taking part in a final selection camp ahead of the U18 Baseball World Cup in Florida. They were joined by talented peers from around the country and team officials Damian Shanahan and Keli’i “Zee” Zablan from BV.
Congratulations to these dedicated baseballers on making the most of an amazing opportunity: Genevieve Beacom, Nick Bertucci, Felix Brunner, Jayden Kim, Bronson Neave, Nick Parton, Hayden Peoples, Charlie Pierson, Declan Speirs, and Lachlan Smith.
From the final selection camp, Nick Bertucci, Jayden Kim, Charlie Pierson, and Declan Speirs were named to the 2022 Team Australia Baseball U18 World Cup team.
