The Victoria team secured their first win of the 2015 National Women’s Championships in Canberra today.
In the first game of the tournament, a very disciplined Victoria team played well in the field and dominated with the bats. The Presidents Friendship team played well together as a team, and fought hard to secure two late runs.
The Queensland versus ACT game was suspended in early innings due to rain. The game will be played prior to their second round robin game against each other at Ainslie Baseball Club on Thursday at 9:30am.
The New South Wales versus Victoria game was cancelled due to weather and will be played Monday night on Diamond 1 at 6:00pm.
