Congratulations to Victorian Nikau Pouaka-Grego, who has become the latest Australian to sign with an MLB organisation.
The 17-year-old infield prospect and current Sunshine Eagles player signed with the Philadelphia Phillies over the weekend.
In addition to his VSBL success, Pouaka-Grego was also a member of the Australian team at the U-15 World Cup in Panama in 2018. He hit .400 and drew five walks in seven appearances during the tournament.
