NSW defending their title at the Under 15 Womens Champs

Day 3 is complete at the 2015 National Under 15 Women’s Championships in Canberra. New South Wales is currently sitting on top of the ladder, winning five of their five games. New South Wales are the three year defending champions and are looking to make it a fourth consecutive win. 

Western Australia v ACT

Western Australia again showed that good basic baseball skills can help to secure a win, defeating the ACT 19-3. Jaime Quartermaine pitched 4 great innings and all members of the WA batting lineup put runs on the board.

Country New South Wales v Queensland

Both teams came out to play but it was Country New South Wales ability to bring batters home that won them the game, defeating Queensland 19-8. Country players Olivia Cameron had a two RBI double in the first and Chloe Neuhold had another two RBI Double in the 4th.

New South Wales v ACT 

ACT showed their fans today that they have a great ability to hit the ball well and score runs. After New South Wales scored 13 runs in the first innings ACT bounced back with 8 earned runs with a strong bat. Lauren Hughes from NSW had a big hit with an in the park grand slam to centerfield.

Queensland v Western Australia 

A massive win over Queensland for Western Australia with a 16-0 win. Western Australia consistently added runs each inning including doubles from WA players Caitlin Eynon and Caitlin Gordon. 

Round Robin play will continue until the end of play on Friday before all teams will be ranked, with the Bronze and Gold Medal games being played on Saturday.
