At St Kilda, we’re delighted to announce our new head coach for the upcoming 2015/16 summer season is Brett Elliott.
Brett has played at St Kilda for the last 2 winter seasons and shown to be a young man with a lot of promise! His knowledge of the game is first rate!
Previously Brett was from Sydney and over the last 2 seasons has really embraced the club and its values.
As a player, Brett is talented, a number of Division 1 and 2 clubs have tried to poach Brett but he has stuck with St Kilda fortunately . He’s a pitcher that can throw at high velocity and control, excellent catcher and this season proved to be a more than handy short stop. A good bat too.
As a coach, Brett has worked with juniors at his previous club and we’re hoping he can utilise that experience to instruct, raise standards and improve our playing group.
We consider as a club to be very fortunate that Brett has accepted this appointment and a step forward for the club!
Summer season training kicks off on Sunday 30th August at Tom O’Halloran Reserve 11am – we hope to see all Saints there!
