The Australian Emeralds are heading to the 2018 WBSC Women’s World Cup as the world’s number four ranked baseball team, and are seeking your support.
Baseball Australia and the Australian Sports Foundation have teamed up to start a campaign and raise funds for the Australian Emeralds World Cup campaign.
Donations start at $25, with contributions of $250 or more receiving money-can’t-buy prizes, including personalised letters from Emeralds players, official line-up cards from Women’s World Cup games, and an invitation to a private practice session.
The Emeralds finished fourth at the 2016 World Cup, with hard fought wins over top quality opponents including Korea and the USA.
The Emeralds are made up of dedicated women from around the country who are mostly self-funded as they continue their dream to bring women's baseball in Australia to new heights.
A contribution to the Australian women's baseball program will also help build and sustain women's baseball in Australia for years to come.
This donation call seeks 30 supporters in 30 days leading up to the end of the financial year.
To hit the ultimate goal of $17,500, the Australian Emeralds are seeking;
