In a wild back-and-forth affair on a perfect Saturday afternoon, the Lady Braves took on last year’s Grand Final runner up, Doncaster, in a spirited game. After four innings, Malvern held a four run lead but a disastrous fifth frame saw eight Dragons cross the plate—many thanks to a series of miscues—and the game turn inevitably toward a Doncaster victory.
Essendon had a bye this week.
