Women's Week 16

In Women's Division 1, Doncaster narrowly defeated Essendon 3-2 as Springvale shut out Footscray 12-0.

In Women's Division 2, Geelong edged Doncaster 3-2 while Newport beat Footscray 11-1. Springvale finished 10-4 in front of Newport’s second side. Melbourne prevailed 13-9 at North Western and Essendon defeated Sandringham 18-7.

Preston Women's Division 3 East recorded another win with an 11-4 outing vs. Research as Upwey Ferntree Gully outlasted Waverley Black 16-9. Waverley Red won 10-5 at Malvern.

In Women's Division 3 South, a back-and-forth battle between Pakenham and Cheltenham went the Pumas’ way 12-11 as South East Warriors cruised to a 21-4 win over St Kilda. Moorabbin won 24-2 at Berwick while Chelsea defeated Springvale 15-5.

Geelong Women's Division 3 West was busy at the plate in an 18-3 victory over Essendon while Mitchell Majors pulled ahead late to win 4-3 against North Western. Port Melbourne shut out Newport 15-0 as Werribee won 15-8 over Williamstown. Alfredton won 18-9 at Fitzroy.

Seniors Week 17

Division 1 Firsts: Melbourne got the job done 9-2 over Geelong as Sunshine edged Malvern 4-3. Blackburn finished 6-3 in front of Berwick as Moorabbin beat Essendon 9-3. Mulgrave won 13-5 at Upwey Ferntree Gully and Sandringham picked up an 11-7 victory at Waverley.

Division 2 Firsts: Port Melbourne went 5-1 at St Kilda as Cheltenham held on for a 7-6 win over Williamstown. Doncaster scored 24 runs and kept North Western off the board while Fitzroy won 15-2 over Werribee. Newport shut out Bonbeach 10-0 and Ormond Glenhuntly defeated Preston 8-5.

Division 3 Firsts: Pakenham racked up 16 runs while Mornington scored two. Geelong scored 35 runs in a shutout over Port Melbourne as Chelsea went 16-10 at Footscray. Essendon won 7-2 at Sandringham.

Division 4 East: Melbourne Red beat Doncaster 16-4 as Waverley Black finished 6-4 in front of Waverley Red. Monash University won 12-9 at Research Lower Plenty Black. Research Lower Plenty Gold prevailed 8-6 over Melbourne Blue.

Division 4 North: Essendon came back to beat Fitzroy Maroon 9-8. Greensborough recorded an 18-3 win against Newport as North Coburg narrowly defeated Alfredton 10-9.

Division 4 South: Upwey Ferntree Gully Gold won 13-8 over St Kilda as Chelsea Blue snuck past Pakenham White 7-6. South East Warriors shut out Chelsea White 9-0 and Springvale won 15-0 at Pakenham Black.

Masters Week 17

Masters 38+ East saw Melbourne win 5-1 at Research Lower Plenty as Blackburn beat Waverley 13-7. Monash/Ormond Glenhuntly outlasted Upwey Ferntree Gully Gold 8-5 as Tigers Black won 21-1 at Ormond Glenhuntly.

In Masters 38+ North West, Essendon kept up the pressure for a 13-2 victory over Newport. Port Melbourne went 11-1 over Fitzroy and Sunshine Blue won 8-6 at Essendon Jets. Williamstown got the job done 18-2 at Sunshine White.

In Masters 38+ South, Cheltenham edged Bonbeach Blue 4-2 and Sandringham finished 10-2 in front of Chelsea. Springvale Tomatoes won 16-4 at Mornington and Bonbeach White won 12-7 at Pakenham/Berwick.

Blackburn is now 13-0 in Masters 45+ after beating Sandringham 13-9. Melbourne won 9-3 over Malvern.

Juniors Week 16

U14 East Metro: Malvern edged Upwey Ferntree Gully 12-11 while Pakenham prevailed 16-5 over Sandringham. Waverley won 17-8 at Berwick/Mulgrave, with Melbourne beating Cheltenham by the same score. Bonbeach/Chelsea picked up an 18-3 win at Doncaster.

U14 West Metro: Port Melbourne defeated Sunshine 19-6 as Essendon won 15-5 at Newport Footscray. A back-and-forth battle ended with Research Lower Plenty up 17-13 over North Western.

U14 East State: Melbourne edged Blackburn 15-14 while Waverley narrowly beat Chelsea 7-6. Moorabbin scored 19 and gave up just one to Sandringham. Malvern finished 14-7 in front of Upwey Ferntree Gully.

U14 West State: Essendon cruised to a 20-1 win at Werribee while Research Lower Plenty defeated Geelong 15-8. Newport prevailed 15-8 at Sunshine, too.

U16 Metro: Essendon won 9-1 over Research/Preston as Malvern won 26-1 at Blackburn/Doncaster. Williamstown won 18-1 at Fitzroy Blue and North Western defeated Fitzroy Maroon 11-6. Werribee recorded an 11-1 result at Port Melbourne and Waverley outlasted Sandringham 13-7.

U16 State: Moorabbin got the job done 8-3 over Doncaster and Williamstown defeated Newport 10-5. Sandringham won 12-5 at Geelong and Waverley won 15-1 at Research Preston.

U18 Metro: Doncaster defeated Sunshine 13-2 and Pakenham outpaced Mulgrave 4-1. Cheltenham scored every inning for an 11-7 victory at Sandringham as Essendon defeated St Kilda 10-7.

U18 State: Essendon blanked Blackburn Upwey FTG 1-0 and Preston/Research finished 11-6 against Bonbeach Moorabbin. Newport went 10-2 at Waverley and Sandringham beat Werribee 21-4. Geelong and Malvern drew 4-4.

Under 12s Week 15

U12 A State East: Malvern outlasted Bonbeach 20-9 and Blackburn won 12-5 at Chelsea. Waverley went 11-3 against Cheltenham/Moorabbin as Melbourne won 8-2 at Sandringham.

U12 A State West: Essendon beat Port Melbourne 15-3 as Geelong edged Newport 4-2. Research Maroon defeated Sunshine 17-7 while Werribee came back to beat Research Gold 8-7.

U12 B East: Sandringham outlasted Berwick 13-9 as Springvale won 12-8 at Chelsea. Melbourne defeated St Kilda 12-6.

U12 B West: Newport Red recorded a 12-5 victory against Fitzroy Maroon and Williamstown scored 15 in a shutout vs. Research Blue. Essendon won 12-9 at Fitzroy Blue.

U12 Baycats: Geelong Riverdogs won 13-8 against Firefrogs and Mudhens outlasted Lake Monsters 13-10.
