What an amazing week it’s been with the 2026 Australian Youth Championships right here in Melbourne. A huge thank you to all the dedicated volunteers at Essendon, Port Melbourne, and Preston Baseball Clubs for hosting and helping to make these tournaments such a success.
Congratulations to our Victorian teams who represented their state with pride and gave it their all in every game. Both teams competed in their championship games, with U16s winning silver and U18s coming back to beat WA and win gold at home – an outstanding accomplishment!
It was so great to see our Victorians playing as a team, backing each other up, and leaving a mark on the competition at nationals.
The future is incredibly bright for these baseballers and the next generation of athletes coming through the BV Performance Pathway.
