Two Victorians have been named to the 19-player Team Australia roster for the three-game series against the Brisbane Bandits at Viticon Stadium this weekend.
Outfielder Aidan Willis and right-handed pitcher Angus Stals have made the team and will represent Victoria for the exciting series alongside talented young prospects from around the country. Stals also represented his hometown as part of the Team Australia Futures in a series with the Adelaide Giants earlier this month.
The Bandits rolled out the welcome mat to Team Australia with the Perth Heat unable to travel due to Western Australia’s border restrictions.
Game one at Newmarket’s Viticon Stadium is slated for 7:15pm AEST on Friday and the series continues with a doubleheader on Saturday from 4pm.
