VSBL Round 1 Wrap Up

Baseball Victoria
05 October 2026

Our 2026/27 VSBL season kicked off over the weekend for some of our men's competitions! While it wasn't the start to the season we had envisioned, we now look ahead to Round 2.

Sadly, we saw majority of our Premier League matches get washed out on Saturday. With only 3 matches that went ahead, it gave the rest of the competition another week before hitting the diamond for the first time in the 2026/27 season.

Check out all of our scores and fixtures for the season HERE.

PREMIER LEAGUE 1 RESERVES

Doncaster Defeat Williamstown With Runs In Every Inning

Doncaster def. Williamstown, 11-4

In the Premier League 1 Reserves, we saw Doncaster host Williamstown at Deep Creek Reserve for the only Reserves match of Round 1. Doncaster were able to hold their own against Williamstown, as they scored runs in each of the 4 innings played.

Some standout players for the match included Allie Bebbere (Doncaster), Kris Nankivell (Doncaster) and Mitchell Clement (Williamstown).
