The 2019 Australian Little League Championship gold and bronze medal games will be available to stream only on Kayo, Australia’s new multi-sport streaming service.

Kayo, which is available on iOS and Android devices, laptop, PC and on TV with Telstra TV, compatible Android TV devices, Apple TV and Chromecast Ultra, will show both medal games LIVE from Lismore, New South Wales, on June 10.

With Kayo, fans will be able to stream matches from live, or if they have jumped in late, they can start at the beginning with the ‘From Start’ feature. Both games will also be available On-Demand.

Baseball Australia chief executive Cam Vale was excited to showcase Little League Baseball to a wider audience on Kayo.

“Little League Baseball is unlike any other youth sporting event in the world,” Vale said.

“It is a huge event and not every day does an Australian team earn the chance to travel to the US to compete in a World Series.

“We’re extremely excited Kayo has recognised the growth of Little League Baseball in Australia and jumped on board.”

The winner of the Australian Little League Championship earns the right to represent Australia at the Little League World Series in the US.

Last year’s Little League World Series championship game in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, drew more than 3.2 million viewers in the US.

“Little League baseball is a big deal and has grown in Australia to the point where we have the third-highest participation levels in the world,” Vale said.

“We enjoyed strong interest for the Australian Baseball League Championship Series on Kayo and we can’t wait to showcase another of our pathways.

“The deal also provides significant exposure for our commercial partners, not to mention a thrill for these 10-12 year old players.”

The 16-team 2019 Australian Little League Championship gets underway in Lismore on June 6.

The bronze medal game is slated for 9am on June 10, followed by the gold medal game at 1pm, subject to schedule changes.

Fans who want to catch all the action should head to www.kayosports.com.au to sign up for a free 14-day trial and be set to watch the Little League medal games on June 10.
