Cronulla, Eastern Phantoms, Hills Red and Ryde Red remain in contention for gold at the 2019 Australian Little League Championship in Lismore.
Cronulla will square off with Hills Red at 10.15am tomorrow and Ryde Red face Eastern Phantoms at 1pm for a spot in Monday’s gold medal game.
The quartet recorded wins on an action-packed third day at Albert Park.

Quarter-final 1: Hills Red 10, Far North Coast 0 | Box Score
Strong pitching and steady offence helped Hills Red punch its #ALLC2019 semi-final ticket.
Rory Cain recorded five strikeouts and did not give up a run as Hills recorded a 10-0 win over Far North Coast on diamond one.
Matthew Courtney recorded two runs batted in for Hills Red.
Hills Red held a 4-0 lead after two innings and added six runs in the fourth to complete an impressive win.
Quarter-final 2: Eastern Phantoms 5, Northern Metros 4 | Box Score
Eastern Phantoms rallied late to overcome Northern Metros 5-4 in an all-Western Australian quarter-final.
The Phantoms scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth after falling behind 3-0 early.
Austin Moyle and Ben Crook drove in two runs each to help Eastern into a semi-final.
Riley Oliphant struck out three batters in relief.
Kristian Haeusler collected three runs batted in for Metros.
Quarter-final 3: Cronulla 9, Manly 5 | Box Score
Cronulla advanced to an #ALLC2019 semi-final, overcoming Manly 9-5 on day three in Lismore.
Mikah Targett struck out seven and Jack Fletcher drove in a couple of runs.
Cronulla took a 5-0 lead into the bottom of the second.
Manly pulled within two runs before Cronulla added three runs in the fourth to restore a healthy buffer.
James Greer drove in two of Manly’s runs.
Quarter-final 4: Ryde Red 3, Gold Coast Cougars 2 | Box Score
Ryde Red withstood a late rally from Gold Coast Cougars to advance to an #ALLC2019 semi-final.
Ryde scored runs in the first, second and third to take a 3-0 lead before the Cougars added late runs.
Gold Coast scored in the top of the fifth and sixth to pull within a run.
Simon Slapeta had three hits for Ryde.
Eastern Athletics 5, Canberra 3 | Box Score
Eastern Athletics held off a fast-finishing Canberra to record a consolation game win at #ALLC2019.
The Athletics prevailed 5-3 despite Canberra scoring three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Mitchell Smith recorded five strikeouts for Eastern and Canberra counterpart Cooper McMasters punched out six batters.
Canberra’s Molly Paddison had a game-high two runs batted in.
Twins 7, Adelaide Rays 5 | Box Score
Twins scored four unanswered runs to topple Adelaide Rays and record their second win of #ALLC2019.
Twins prevailed 7-5 on the back of a three-run fifth that put them in the lead.
James McFarlane drove in a pair of runs for Twins.
Alex Liersch struck out four hitters.
Southern Mariners 6, Brisbane North 5 | Box Score
The Southern Mariners’ two runs in the top of the sixth proved vital as they held on for a narrow win over Brisbane North.
The Mariners added two runs to extend their lead to 6-0 ahead of North scoring five runs to fall 6-5.
Robert Hodgetts drove in two runs for Southern and Brisbane’s Hayden Dingli finished with two RBIs.
Hills Red 6, Adelaide Rays 4 | Box Score
Hills Red scored two late runs to break a tie and overcome Adelaide Rays 6-4.
Hills raced to a 4-2 lead before the Rays hit back to draw level.
But a two-run fifth lifted Hills to a crucial Pool A victory.
Kaylin Murray and Phoenix McFarland drove in two runs each for Hills Red.
Aiden Lucas punched out 10 batters for Adelaide.
Day four action starts at 9.30am (local time) with the first semi-final starting at 10.15am.
The semi-final winners will advance to Monday’s championship game.
