Eastern Athletics 5, Canberra 3 | Box Score
Eastern Athletics held off a fast-finishing Canberra to record a consolation game win at #ALLC2019.
The Athletics prevailed 5-3 despite Canberra scoring three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Mitchell Smith recorded five strikeouts for Eastern and Canberra counterpart Cooper McMasters punched out six batters.
Canberra’s Molly Paddison had a game-high two runs batted in.
Twins 7, Adelaide Rays 5 | Box Score
Twins scored four unanswered runs to topple Adelaide Rays and record their second win of #ALLC2019.
Twins prevailed 7-5 on the back of a three-run fifth that put them in the lead.
James McFarlane drove in a pair of runs for Twins.
Alex Liersch struck out four hitters.
Southern Mariners 6, Brisbane North 5 | Box Score
The Southern Mariners’ two runs in the top of the sixth proved vital as they held on for a narrow win over Brisbane North.
The Mariners added two runs to extend their lead to 6-0 ahead of North scoring five runs to fall 6-5.
Robert Hodgetts drove in two runs for Southern and Brisbane’s Hayden Dingli finished with two RBIs.
Day four action starts at 9.30am (local time) with the first semi-final starting at 10.15am.
The semi-final winners will advance to Monday’s championship game.
Both medal games on Monday will be broadcast live and exclusive on Kayo.
