Baseball Victoria is pleased to open applications for the 2023 BV Development Grants Program.
This round of funding is for Category 2 (winter clubs or associations) and will provide grants for activities and events aimed at driving participation and the growth of our sport at the grassroots level.
In our most recent round of funding, we proudly awarded over $28,000 in grants to 17 Summer League clubs in support of participation programs and outreach projects.
These grants are made possible through the Baseball Victoria Development Fund, which consists of annual contributions collected from member fees participating in T-ball, juniors and seniors.
As the membership grows, so do these funds, which will be distributed among chosen applicants for outreach activities designed to generate interest and grow baseball participation.
Activities may include come and try days, junior gala days, baseball equipment, female participation programs, All Abilities programs, club-driven school events and more.
Applications for Category 2 (winter clubs or associations) are open now through the end of January while Category 1 (Summer League clubs) will open in July.
“We look forward to receiving and reviewing grant applications as we strive to support our winter clubs and associations in attracting new members and increasing participation,” Baseball Victoria CEO Chet Gray said. “By putting this funding back into the baseball community, we can build a bigger and brighter future for baseball in Victoria.”
