Australia has been crowned the baseball champions of Oceania and have qualified for the 2015 18U Baseball World Cup in Japan. Australia went through the 18U Oceania Championships undefeated, winning their last game today against Guam 10-0.
Guam managed only one hit off the Aussie pitcher Bradley Simon who allowed no earned runs, struck out two and walked none. Lachlan MacDonald was also impressive on the mound in his two innings of work, giving up only one hit and being credited with the win.
Australia scored ten runs from ten hits during the game, including a massive triple from Joshua Rawlinson in the third.
