“It was an honour to attend my first WBSC Congress on behalf of Baseball Australia, particularly with our strong representation on the WBSC Executive Committee,” Vale said.

“I was very impressed with the plans outlined by the leadership team at the WBSC, with significant focus on both our re-admittance as an Olympic sport, as well as the growth of the sport as a whole.”

Over the next few weeks, Baseball Australia, Baseball NT and the Northern Territory

Government will work together to revise the Baseball NT constitution and management framework.

A key priority during this transitional period, will be the development of a new constitution; which will be taken to the members at a Special General Meeting in February 2018.

The current Executive Officer Lisa Hooley, and Development Officer Callum Hooley, will continue under the direction of Baseball Australia Chief Executive Officer Cam Vale, and his management team at Baseball Australia; until the Special General Meeting.
