The Baseball Victoria Board announces the resignation of CEO Kristie Middleton effective 27 August 2021.
The Board is commencing the recruitment process to secure a suitable replacement.
“On behalf of the Baseball Victoria Board, Staff, and the wider Victorian baseball community, I wish to thank Kristie for her dedicated leadership and service throughout the past two years,” Baseball Victoria President Meghan Mayman said. “Kristie has led our organisation through challenging circumstances, with the majority of her tenure being during the COVID pandemic, and made progressive changes to enhance baseball opportunities across our state.”
“The support and guidance provided to our summer clubs and winter associations during the ever-changing environment of COVID-19 have been highly commendable. BV is in a strong position financially and organisationally despite the many challenges of the pandemic, which is in large part due to Kristie’s leadership. We wish Kristie all the best in her future endeavours and look forward to building on the extensive work she has done.”
Further announcements will be made in the coming weeks regarding the recruitment process.
