BERWICK CITY COUGARS ANNOUNCE CLUB COACH
"It is with great pleasure to announce that Berwick City Cougars Baseball Club has appointed Dan Betreen as club coach for the next 3 years.
Dan returns to the Cougars after a one year tenure as assistant coach with the Melbourne Baseball Club. His passion and commitment to coaching has gained him a successful reputation with high performance programs such as the Melbourne Aces Academy, MLBAAP in Queensland and being involved with MLB's Oakland Athletics organisation. Dan's recent success in Victorian Baseball includes being the head coach of the victorious Under 16 Blue team who won gold medal at this years National Youth Championships.
Besides being club coach one of Dan's other charters is to assist and provide a pathway for club members to achieve their goals at the highest possible level that matches their skill set.
Together with the committee, I would like to wish Dan all the very best in the years to come at the Berwick City Cougars Baseball Club."
