Day 4 of the National Women’s Championship ended today with big wins from Victoria and New South Wales.
After an unexpected loss to Queensland yesterday, Victoria bounced back to defeat ACT 10-0. Their experienced players opened up in the first 2 innings and allowed their young players to close out the game for the win. Stand out players for the game included Victorian players Belinda Cannington who scored three runs from three at bats and Abbey McLellan with three RBIs and a run.
Knowing Queensland played a strong game yesterday; New South Wales put their strongest team on the field to beat Queensland 13-1. Driving in nine runs in the first innings, showing a display of strength and proving to the other teams they are here to win. With two doubles and a single Tahnee Lovering from New South Wales scored two runs with four RBIs.
