POSITION AVAILABLE: COMMUNICATIONS & DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR
Baseball Victoria (BV) is the state sporting organisation recognised as the official governing body for the sport of baseball in Victoria.
Reporting to the General Manger, the Communications and Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring baseball’s stories, values, product offerings and other key messages are appropriately and creatively communicated to the wider general public, via traditional and non-traditional means. The role is also responsible for ensuring the existing baseball community is adequately engaged and kept abreast of the sport’s developments.
Baseball is in an exciting period of growth, and we are eagerly seeking the services of an emerging talent with a minimum of two years experience in Communications, Digital Marketing and/or Public Relations. The successful applicant will be energetic and ready to contribute to one of the fastest growing sports in Australia. To be successful in this position you will need:
Marketing and/or communication tertiary qualifications;
Experience in managing content website resources via CMS;
Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills;
Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills;
Skilled at writing media releases and speeches
Demonstrated ability to operate graphic design programs including InDesign, Photoshop and email campaign management systems;
A proven work ethic;
A service-provider mentality and a commitment to quality
A willingness to travel both domestically and internationally;
Minimum of 2 years experience in a marketing, PR and/or communications role;
