Diamond Valley / Bendigo win U12 titles

The conclusion of the U12 State Winter Championships in Bendigo over the weekend marked the end of another season of Winter Baseball carnivals.

This past weekend was all about our U12s with Diamond Valley and Bendigo taking out the Division 1 & 2 titles respectively.

All four division 1 teams had a chance to take home the Championship on the final day of games with Diamond Valley just edging Dandenong to be crowned this year's Division 1 champions.

In Division 2, it all came down to the final game between Bendigo and Latrobe Valley with the home town Bendigo team prevailing in a scoreline of 9 - 7. All 3 country associations should be congratulated for the effort that was put in with the threat of a three-way tie a real possibility entering the weekend's final games.
