Baseball Victoria would like to congratulate the five Victorians who have made the Australian 2016 Under 15 World Cup team announced today by Baseball Australia.
Ben Fierenzi, Declan Croker, Liam Evans, Chris Burke and Blake Townsend have all had their names called up for the squad who will compete at the 2016 Under 15 World Cup to be held in Iwaki Japan from the 29th July to the 7th of August. Victorian born Will Kortekaas also made the team. Will represents South Australia at the National Championships.
Baseball Victoria General Manager Ashley Blair shared the following.
"This is a tremendous achievement for all of the young Victorians who have made the Australian team. It is a wonderful opportunity to represent your country and a fitting reward for a mountain of work that these boys have put in to get the most out of themselves as athletes. Baseball Victoria would like to wish the entire team the best of luck as the tournament approaches."
