A five-run second propelled Victoria Blue to victory in the gold medal game preview on Diamond 1.

Eight of Blue’s nine starters collected a hit as Blue avenged a defeat to NSW on Tuesday afternoon.

Shae Lillywhite drove in two runs in a well-rounded team performance.

Reliever Belinda Cannington allowed just one unearned run in four innings of work.
