On Sunday, 19 January, Melbourne Aces will hold a special Bushfire Appeal benefitting BlazeAid for their final home game of their regular season.
BlazeAid is a volunteer-based organisation that is dedicated to helping residents of rural Australia recover and rebuild after the devastating bushfires.
Melbourne Aces have teamed up with F45 Training Hoppers Crossing, F45 Training Werribee, F45 Training Point Cook, Melbourne City Wrestling and Greyhound Racing Victoria - GRV to raise much-needed funds for communities impacted by the bushfires.
100% of every ticket sold for Sunday’s game v Adelaide Giants will be donated to BlazeAid, plus $1000 for every Aces home run.
There will also be a pre-game workout with F45 and a post-game live wrestling event with Melbourne City Wrestling. “To see our beautiful country ablaze is heartbreaking, and so we come together to fight the good fight,” said Justin Huber, General Manager of Melbourne Aces. “This is our home, our beautiful wildlife and animals, our farmers, family and friends. We physically cannot fight the fire but together we can put on a great fundraiser and do our part to help.”
Please join with Baseball Victoria and the Melbourne Aces as the Victorian baseball community shows support for BlazeAid.
