Day 2 of the 2015 National Under 15 Womens Championships saw Western Australia with two wins and New South wales continue to show their dominance.
Country NSW v Western Australia
Both teams came out in the first innings looking to show they were there to win. Country New South Wales put themselves in a position to win several times, leaving 9 batters on base, however Western Australia took the win 9-6. Megan Everitt from WA scored three runs from three at bats and Country player Olivia Cameron scored two runs with a RBI single and a double.
New South Wales again showed their dominance, but ACT fought hard to put 5 runs on the board. Tamika Vaokakala from NSW was a standout with lightning speed on a deep bomb in the outfield to score an in the park home run.
Western Australia v Queensland
Western Australia continued to play strong competitive baseball and secured their second win of the day over Queensland, 16-5. WA player Kelsey Brennan shone with two RBI Doubles, a two run RBI Double and a triple to centerfield.
