Victoria Blue will open its U18 title defence against Queensland on day one of the 2020 Australian Youth Championships in Geelong.
The full schedule for the U16 and U18 events was released today, with games split across Geelong Baseball Centre, Melbourne Ballpark and Ballarat from 10-15 January 2020.

Geelong Baseball Centre will be the primary host with 12 games at Melbourne Ballpark and eight at Ballarat’s Prince of Wales Park.
The 2019 U18 gold medal game rematch between Victoria Blue and New South Wales is slated for 4.30pm on Sunday 12 January on the main diamond at Geelong. They will square off in their U-16 rematch on diamond one at 9am on Saturday 11 January. U16 Vic White begins the tournament playing NSW while U16 Vic Blue takes on South Australia.
Every team in both age brackets will play each other once in the opening round. The top two teams will play for gold on January 15, with third and fourth battling for bronze.
All games across the last two days will be at Geelong Baseball Centre. This is s the first time since 2013 Geelong has hosted the Australian Youth Championship.
