The St Kilda Baseball Club is pleased to announce Brett Elliott as its new club head coach. Elliott's appointment for the upcoming 2015/16 summer season comes on the back of an outstanding 2014 winter campaign where he finished 2nd as C grade MVP.
Saints President Shaun O’Reilly said the club was thrilled that Elliott, 24, had accepted the head coaching position. "Brett brings a wealth of knowledge and high level coaching and playing experience," O'Reilly said. "This is a major step forward for the club."
As a player, Brett is a high velocity pitcher with excellent control. He currently leads St. Kilda into its first successive winter finals campaign in C Grade having also proved himself as fine catcher and adept infielder.
Brett Elliott said it was a great privilege to be appointed club coach of St Kilda, a club with a rich history since it was founded in 1879. "I look forward to working closely with the new committee and junior program and helping re-build this great and historic club," he said.
