Western Suns will enter tomorrow’s top-of-the-table #AILC2018 clash against Northern Metros undefeated.
The Suns joined the Metros with a 4-0 record, downing the Southern Mariners 15-13 in a wild contest on Diamond 4.
A four-run opening frame ignited the Suns, who raced to a 5-0 lead.
Southern hit back and scored the final 10 runs of the game but were not able to reel in the Suns.
Michael De Gasperis picked up three hits for Western.
Thomas Yuile had three for the Mariners.

Macarthur used a five-run seventh inning to top Ryde Hawks and record its first win of #AILC2018 on Day 3.
After losing the lead in the bottom of the sixth, Macarthur dug deep to regain the lead and pick up its maiden Intermediate League win.
Joshua Miners and Mason McPhee led the way with three RBIs.

Leong went deep, doubled and tripled as the Hawks prevailed 22-7 over Manly on Diamond 3.
Joshua Richter and Liam Goodrich also picked up three hits for Ryde, which blew the contest open with an 11-run first.
