The Australian Emeralds have wrapped up their 2023 Women's World Cup Campaign in fourth place with a 2-3 record.
Although they fell just short of advancing to the final round in 2024, their dedication and teamwork were evident throughout the week. From a one-run loss to powerhouse USA to wins against South Korea and Hong Kong, they battled hard to stay in the competition and made their country proud.
Well done to all the Emeralds and, of course, a very special mention to our Victorian representatives: Genevieve Beacom, Abbey McLellan, Maddy Patrick, Allie Bebbere, Morgan Doty, Lili Cavanagh, Abbey Kelly, Shae Lillywhite, Samantha Hamilton (assistant coach) and Ursula Howard (EO).
We can't wait to see what the future holds for #womensbaseball in Australia and beyond.
Head to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to catch up on all the action.
