Baseball Victoria is excited to announce a new partnership with Salesian College Sports Academy in Chadstone.
As an official partner of baseball in Victoria, Salesian College has joined the BV Diamond Partnership Program at the Home Run level.
Salesian plans to introduce a baseball program by Year 7, 2025, subject to student enrolment. Salesian also welcomes any Year 7-10 enrolments for next year who could still benefit from their Sports Academy program and its many components.
“Salesian College is excited to be partnering with BV with the aim to introduce a baseball-specific program within our existing Sports Academy,” Stephen Sellwood, Salesian College Sports Academy Coordinator, said.
“The inclusion of baseball alongside our existing sports offerings will further strengthen our program and enable us to continue to improve students sporting abilities through a specialised and accelerated curriculum.”
Baseball Victoria hopes Salesian College will become a hub for secondary school students to pursue their academic and baseball goals in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.
“This is a fantastic new partnership and we look forward to supporting Salesian College in their efforts to introduce a dedicated baseball program to their already thriving Sports Academy,” BV CEO Chet Gray said. “The addition of a baseball specific program will offer new opportunities for junior baseballers in the east as we continue to grow our grassroots sport.”
