UPDATE: READ ABOUT TEAL DAY - CLICK HERE
The colour teal represents the ovarian cancer foundation, and the month of February is dedicated to that. In order to raise awareness of the illness and to continually honour Gabby, the club is hosting its annual Teal Game
The Teal Game: 16 February at Farm Rd
The game will be played on the last home game of every Under 18 summer season (as long as it falls in the month of February)
The players will be given special “Teal” Rustlers tops, which have be donated by club members to wear every year on this day.
There will be a medal handed out to the best Cheltenham player as deemed by the two scorers on the day, in memory of Gabby. There will also be a perpetual trophy to go along with this.
This year the game will be played on the 16th of February against Geelong; the last home game for the U18s – we would love a huge crowd to come down to the game and support this initiative
We invite anyone that knew Gabby to come down and celebrate her life and if you didn't know Gabby, come down anyway and support a very worthy cause. There will also be a raffle and BBQ with all money going to ovarian cancer Australia.
