There are just a few weeks left in the VSBL season and we hope everyone has a great finish to summer baseball. We’re looking forward to finals as Victoria returns to COVIDSafe summer restrictions, with Premier Daniel Andrews announcing further easing of restrictions today.
From 11:59pm tonight, Victoria will return to previous COVIDSafe settings, with masks only required on public transport and in aged care facilities, rideshare vehicles and large retail settings including indoor shopping centres, supermarkets and department stores.
While masks will no longer be mandated in most circumstances, the Victorian Government continues to recommend face masks for indoors and outdoors when distancing can’t be maintained.

As a reminder, all VSBL clubs and members must adhere to the COVIDSafe policies outlined in our Return to Play Plan. This includes proper hand sanitizing, cleaning, recordkeeping, and capacity limits, which allow us to keep our baseball community safe and do our part to support Victoria’s COVID normal. Please check your club hand sanitizer stocks and ensure all guidelines are being followed appropriately.
All of these details are outlined in our Return to Play documents available HERE. For more information, please view our frequently asked questions HERE.
